Formula 1 suffered 40 years ago a measles similar to the one that European professional football now suffers with the introduction of the Super League. From that clash between ‘mercantilists’ and ‘federative’, none of them emerged victorious and forced both parties to agree. Will the same thing happen now? Formula 1 has experienced conflicts very similar to those experienced by European football with the creation of the Super League. Knowing the outcome and some lessons can be interesting.
