Carlos has taught communication courses to executives from Accenture, KPMG, Repsol, Indra, Gas Natural, Allianz, Google, Baxter, Greenpeace, L’Oréal, Guardia Civil, Telefónica, McKinsey, CNMV, SAS, Hogan Lovells, Mutua Madrileña, Cepsa, Grupo Santander, BBVA, GS Inima, among other companies, in Spain, Colombia and Venezuela.

He is Professor of Communication at IESE, EAE Business School, Universidad Complutense (Journalism), Master of El Mundo and Master of APIE (Economic Information). Throughout his professional career he has been director of four media: El Economista, Metro, lainformacion.com and Capital. For ten years he worked at the newspaper El Mundo, where he was editor-in-chief, and has been a blogger for Yahoo! and Estrella Digital, as well as a columnist for Selecciones de Reader’s Digest.

Author of nine books, seven of them on communication. The most popular are: Tricks for Better Writing, Storytelling and How to Speak and Present in Public. Carlos holds a BA in Journalism and Philosophy and a PhD in Philosophy.
