However, this openness also makes it vulnerable: malicious, promotional or misrepresentative edits can affect the public perception of companies and individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Faced with this reality, <strong>Proa Communication<\/strong> has launched <strong>WikiSafe<\/strong>a service designed to enable companies, managers and public figures to protect their reputation on Wikipedia. The initiative stems from a growing concern about incorrect or outdated information circulating on the platform, which directly impacts the image of the actors involved. Increasingly, Wikipedia has become the initial reference for journalists, investors and citizens, making it essential to manage the digital presence in a proactive and ethical manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WikiSafe's operation combines strategy and technique. The client's presence on Wikipedia is analysed in detail, identifying errors, gaps or potentially harmful content. Based on this diagnosis, an action plan is developed that may include the creation, editing or restoration of pages, always respecting the platform's neutrality and verifiability policies. The Proa Comunicaci\u00f3n team selects objective and contrasted sources to guarantee that the information is truthful and reliable, avoiding any promotional or subjective content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This service mitigates risks such as the dissemination of misinformation, manipulation of data, publication of irrelevant details or lack of presence on Wikipedia, which can be perceived as opacity.
