The national adaptive skiing champion Audrey Pascual won silver at the Europa-Cup this past weekend<\/strong> 27 and 28 November in Resterh\u00f6he (Austria). This is the first of the international appointments that it will be able to face thanks to the sponsorship offered by Almar Consulting<\/a><\/strong>The project management, engineering and technical services consultancy, and with which it could earn the necessary points for a place at the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Games.<\/p>\n

Audrey Pascual, 17, was European champion in adapted alpine skiing in 2020 and has also been Spanish champion five times. Her latest titles include the Spanish Cup in Slalom and Giant in 2021. In 2020 she won the gold medal in Slalom at the National Cup in Zagreb (Croatia) and the gold medals in Giant in the 2nd round of the European Cup in Espot (L\u00e9rida).<\/p>\n

\"Almar's sponsorship has been great because thanks to them I will be able to compete at an international level and, hopefully, fulfil my dream of reaching the Olympics in Beijing in February\", admits Audrey Pascual.<\/p>\n

The break generated by the Covid-19 has led the Madrid athlete to lose points for the classification, so it is essential her participation in competitions such as this one in Austria where she managed to get on the podium. \"Audrey Pascual has won a great medal and has achieved such an elite level that she can and is able to opt to participate in the Paralympic Games, an international journey that will be financed by Almar Consulting\", says Jos\u00e9 Luis Mir\u00f3, president of Almar Consulting, during the announcement of this sponsorship.<\/p>\n

Athletes like Audrey \"should be supported and serve as an example to society so that young people like her know that there are no limits to their dreams and that they can achieve the goals they set for themselves\". \"We believe that her example of talent, self-improvement and effort are values that inspire our company and that she deserves our support\", concludes Mir\u00f3.<\/p>\n

The first stage started this weekend in Austria. \"I believe that we set our own limits, that everyone knows how far they can go and that, by trying and making an effort, you can achieve it. You have to follow certain guidelines and not throw in the towel,\" says athlete Audrey Pascual.<\/p>\n
