The military industry, as well as the technology and security sectors, are taking on a new role in investment priorities. This calls for a new analysis of reality, with a global outlook.<\/p>\n<p>The next edition of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/proacomunicacion.es\/en\/observatorio-comunicacion-estrategica-reputacion-corporativa\/\">PROA Communication Observatory<\/a> <\/strong>will be devoted to the field of defence, diplomacy and geostrategy. It will take place on 29 June at the headquarters of <a href=\"https:\/\/proacomunicacion.es\/en\/\"><strong>PROA Communication<\/strong><\/a>with the participation of experts, whose profiles are summarised below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Adolfo Men\u00e9ndez, president of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aae.org.es\/\">Spanish Atlantic Association<\/a> (EPA).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>State Attorney before the Audiencia Nacional. He was Undersecretary of the Ministries of Defence and Public Works. A renowned administrative lawyer, throughout his extensive professional career he has participated as a lawyer in some of the most significant cases in the different regulated sectors, particularly in the defence industry, transport, construction and financing of infrastructures, energy, the pharmaceutical and health industry, and the sports industry. He has also played a significant role as an expert in Spanish and European regulatory production. In addition, he has been a director of several Spanish companies.<\/p>\n<p>He also served as <em>counsel<\/em> He has been a partner and partner emeritus of Ur\u00eda Men\u00e9ndez, where he headed the Real Estate and Urban Planning Department and was a member of the Public Law and Litigation Department.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Alejandro Alvargonz\u00e1lez, Ambassador of Spain in the Republic of Peru and Vice-President of AAE<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Diplomat who served NATO as Assistant Secretary General for Political and Security Affairs, equivalent to the number 3 in the Atlantic Alliance. He headed the Secretariat General for Defence Policy between 2012 and 2016. He was Director of the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Security, Consul General of Spain in Naples and Shanghai, and Deputy Director General in the Directorate General for Foreign Policy for Asia, the Pacific and North America.<\/p>\n<p>He has been posted to the Spanish diplomatic representations in Honduras, Egypt, Cuba and Switzerland; he has also been Spanish Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Juan Rodr\u00edguez, former Admiral of the Fleet.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He joined the Navy in 1974. In 1979, with the rank of ensign, he embarked on board the corvette \"Infanta Elena\", the first of his 12 afloat assignments. Since then, the admiral remained on board for 24 years, including eight sea commands: patrol boat \"Alsedo\", corvette \"Diana\", frigate \"\u00c1lvaro de Baz\u00e1n\", 31st Escort Squadron, NATO Standing NATO Group No. 1 (SNMG 1), Fleet Projection Group, European Union Force in Atalanta and Spanish High Readiness Maritime Headquarters (SPMARFOR).<\/p>\n<p>Ashore, he was a professor of organisation at the Naval War College and held various positions on the Fleet Staff, Navy Staff and Cabinet of the Admiral Chief of Staff of the Navy. He also served as Chief of Staff of the Navy.<\/p>\n<p>He holds the Grand Cross of Naval Merit, the Royal Military Order of San Hermenegildo and the Civil Guard, as well as eleven other national and foreign military decorations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>C\u00e9sar Ramos, director general of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tedae.org\/es\">Spanish Association of Defence, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technological Companies (AETEC)<\/a> (TEDAE).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Multidisciplinary professional with 25 years of experience linked to the management and direction of Aeronautics, Defence and Space business associations. He was director of the Spanish Association of Aerospace Material Constructors.<\/p>\n<p>It has coordinated different innovation and technology plans for the aeronautical and space sectors in Spain and has drawn up the annual industrial reports since 1999. He has also led the dissemination of quality, environmental and corporate transparency schemes from the Associations to their member companies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TEDAE is an association that brings together Spanish technology industries with a presence in these three areas of activity<\/strong>. This non-profit association was created with the aim of representing and promoting its members both nationally and internationally. Data from the last year available in 2021 show that this business network has a turnover of 11,594 million euros, exports 47 % of its products and services, contributes 1.4 % to Spain's GDP, generates 49,625 highly qualified technical jobs and dedicates 10 % of its turnover to R&amp;D&amp;I.
