{"id":6375,"date":"2017-03-20T14:29:20","date_gmt":"2017-03-20T13:29:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/proacomunicacion.es\/?p=6375"},"modified":"2017-03-20T14:29:20","modified_gmt":"2017-03-20T13:29:20","slug":"proa-comunicacion-collaborates-with-a-charity-dinner-for-the-emalaikat-foundation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/proacomunicacion.es\/en\/proa-comunicacion-colabora-una-cena-benefica-la-fundacion-emalaikat\/","title":{"rendered":"Proa Comunicaci\u00f3n collaborates in a charity dinner for the Emalaikat Foundation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Next Wednesday 22nd March, Proa Comunicaci\u00f3n will participate in the charity dinner <a href=\"http:\/\/fundacionemalaikat.es\/index.php\/proyecto\/gotas-para-la-vida-una-iniciativa-de-emalaikat-para-llevar-agua-a-africa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Drops for Life', an Emalaikat Foundation initiative<\/a> to raise awareness of the importance of World Water Day through actions and events to raise funds to drill wells in Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Drops for Life is an Emalaikat campaign that aims to ensure water as an essential resource, where the millennium goal is to bring water to the millions of people who lack it. Africa is a priority as 1400 children die every day due to lack of water.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/es\/events\/waterday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">World Water Day is celebrated every 22 March.<\/a> and is a United Nations initiative to remind us of the importance of water and its scarcity for a large part of the world's population, where 768 million people worldwide do not have access to safe drinking water.<\/p>\n<p>The Emalaikat Foundation's priority objective is the development of sustainable water resources in Africa and<strong> Solidarity events such as 'Drops for Life' are organised to raise funds to help achieve this cause.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All proceeds from the dinner will go towards the drilling of wells in Africa as part of the programme for the construction of sustainable water resources, which the missionary community of St. Paul the Apostle, MCSPA, is carrying out in Kenya, Ethiopia and Malawi through the Emalaikat Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>You can also collaborate in the project <a href=\"http:\/\/fundacionemalaikat.es\/index.php\/proyecto\/gotas-para-la-vida-una-iniciativa-de-emalaikat-para-llevar-agua-a-africa\/\">Drops for Life' from the Emalaikat Foundation website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\" https:\/\/proacomunicacion.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Sin-t\u00edtulo-2.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6377 size-large aligncenter\" src=\" https:\/\/proacomunicacion.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Sin-t\u00edtulo-2-1024x438.jpg\" alt=\"Untitled-2\" width=\"960\" height=\"411\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/210128849\" width=\"730\" height=\"460\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El pr\u00f3ximo mi\u00e9rcoles 22 de marzo, Proa Comunicaci\u00f3n\u00a0participar\u00e1 en la cena ben\u00e9fica \u2018Gotas para la vida\u2019, una iniciativa de la Fundaci\u00f3n Emalaikat para concienciar sobre la importancia del D\u00eda mundial del agua mediante acciones y eventos que permitan recaudar fondos para perforar pozos en \u00c1frica.
