PROA Communication has led the institutional communication strategy for the first global meeting of the Club of Spanish Executives Abroad, held on 22 December at IE University's headquarters in Madrid, on the occasion of the presentation of the 1st Barometer of Spanish Women's Leadership Abroad. The event brought together more than a hundred senior female executives and leading Spanish women from the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Dubai, Singapore and other countries, along with representatives from the business, academic and institutional spheres.
The meeting served to highlight a strategic reserve of senior Spanish female talent abroad, estimated at more than 1,000 senior executives and leading professionals, whose potential remains largely invisible to national companies and institutions. The Barometer highlighted the high level of qualification of this group, with an average of 26 years of experience, a majority presence in senior management positions and a track record in key sectors such as technology, energy, finance, industry and science, as well as their willingness to contribute to Spain's competitiveness, internationalisation and good governance, both from abroad and through a possible return.
PROA designed and implemented a comprehensive communication plan, which included strategic positioning of the message, generation of institutional content, coordination of the Barometer narrative, and media coverage of the meeting and its main conclusions. This work made it possible to convey to the public and key stakeholders the value of this international female talent, as well as the Club's specific proposals to activate it through public-private partnerships, access to boards of directors, programmes for mentoring, knowledge transfer and effective soft landing plans.
