Elections in Extremadura. Shift to the right in the first stage of the new electoral cycle

The elections in Extremadura constitute the first stage of the new electoral cycle leading up to Moncloa, with a deadline of summer 2027 to complete the wave of regional, local and general elections that are to come. The result of this first contest confirms the shift to the right reflected in the polls, with the Popular Party fulfilling expectations of being the leading force, Vox on the rise and the PSOE in decline.
