PROA has produced and edited the commemorative video of the 250th anniversary of the School of Naval Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
In just four minutes, the recording summarises the history of the School, a national and international reference in the training of professionals in Naval and Oceanic Engineering, since its foundation in 1772 by King Carlos III. Its director, Mr. Antonio Crucelaegui Corvinos, tells the story of the history of an academic institution that currently has 800 students, a third of them women, who are studying for degrees in Naval Architecture, Maritime Engineering, Master's Degree in Naval and Oceanic Engineering, Master's Degree in Marine Renewable Energies, International Master's Degree in Military Naval Engineering and International Erasmus Mundus Master's Degree in Advanced Ship Design & Offshore Renewable Energies.
The video contains images of the most unique elements of a historic building and its teaching and research facilities, such as the virtual classroom, the test channel, the engine laboratory, the chemistry, materials and welding laboratories and the auditorium presided over by the figure of its founder.
