The Spanish Association of Consultancy Firms (CET) held the award ceremony for the first AEC Tech Innovation Awards with a major event at the Ritz Hotel in Madrid. These awards were created to distinguish digital transformation projects at the service of society.
PROA Communication has accompanied the ACS throughout the process of creation, dissemination and institutional positioning of the awards, as well as in Consultancy Nightwhich brought together business, institutional and academic leaders on 2 October to distinguish nine finalist projects in the categories of Innovation in the Public Sector, Social Impact and Technological Talent.
Among the winners were the Madrid City Council, the Quiero Trabajo Foundation and the ONCE Foundation, awarded for initiatives that integrate technology in favour of inclusion, employability and the improvement of public management. In addition to the three winners, the two runners-up in each category were awarded a diploma, recognising projects by the State Agency for Digital Administration, the Andalusian Agency for Social Services and Dependency, the Department of Justice and Democratic Quality of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Centre de Telecomunicacions i Tecnologies de la Informació (CTTI), the Junior Achievement Foundation and Planeta Formación y Universidades.
In his speech, José María Beneyto, president of the AEC, pointed out that "these awards are a significant contribution to making visible how Spanish consultancy is not only an economic engine, but also an agent of positive change in society, forming part of projects that, with innovation and technology, manage to improve people's lives".
PROA Comunicación has contributed to the consolidation of the AEC Tech Innovation Awards as a benchmark in Spain for the social value of consultancy and technological innovation applied to collective welfare.
