Firms from the publishing and artistic world such as TF Artes Gráficas, Proa Comunicación, Sensory Sounds have shown their support for the exhibition-auction of the In Movement Foundation: 4 Ugandan Contemporary Artists. The aim of this initiative is completely charitable; it seeks to raise funds for artistic education projects that In Movement develops with minors in Uganda.

The In Movement Foundation, which is characterised by its commitment to art for social change, will hold the exhibition and auction of 4 Ugandan Contemporary Artists on 27 November at La Casa Encendida. The exhibition will feature works by Ronex Ahimbisibwe, Ismael Kateregga, Edison Mugalu and Jonhmary Mukiza, which will be auctioned to raise funds for the art education projects that In Movement develops with children in Kampala, Uganda.
In addition to La Casa Encendida, which will host the exhibition, the project has the support of firms from the artistic and publishing world such as Ivorypress, TF Artes Gráficas, Proa Comunicación, Sensory Sounds and the wineries Cuestaroa and Pagos de Cirsus.
This solidarity initiative is committed to creativity and art as drivers of change in Africa. Attendees will be able to bid for pieces of various formats, some of which will be included in the exhibition catalogue that will be available for purchase during the auction.
According to the exhibition catalogue, the works of these artists reveal the 'crossroads of paths and cultures that characterise the art produced in Africa, where many of the Western preconceptions such as the difference between high and low culture are revised to create a different and imaginative territory, full of nuances and subversions'.
