Collaboration agreement between the Luca de Tena Foundation and Proa Comunicación

The Luca de Tena Foundation y Proa Communication have signed an agreement whereby the agency will support the former in its communication strategy. The pact was sealed by José María Suárez de Lezodirector of the Foundation's Journalism Lab, and Lucía Casanueva y Valvanuz SernaThe project was launched by the partners and directors of Proa Comunicación.

The Luca de Tena Foundation, established in 1930 by the founder of ABC, is a separate entityown financing, which supports journalists from all media. Throughout its long history, the company has adapted to the needs of society and is currently immersed in a project aimed at research, dissemination, training and promotion of new information projects.the Journalism Labwith the intention of assisting journalists in this complex transition.

Laboratoriodeperiodismo.org is an initiative that was created to try to cover the needs arising from the transformation of the sectorthe disruptive change of the information business and the demand for new professional profiles in environments where such training is, in most cases, not available to new professionals. In this line, the foundation is in contact with educational and financial institutions in the region. Spain and Latin America with the aim of continuing to support journalism and to promote the sustainability and independence of journalistic companies, as there are no comprehensive initiatives of this kind in the Spanish-speaking world.
