Confine viruses, not people

This sentence makes sense, as does the reflection that in historic epidemics was confined to the sick, not the healthy.

I am surprised how little radical feminism has publicised the success of the excellent political leaders who have managed to dominate COVID-19 in their countries with some of the world's best results in the two fundamental criteria: health and economics.

You are at successful political leaders deserve to be recognised. They are Prime Ministers Tsai Ing-wen (Taiwan), Jacinda Arden (New Zealand), Sanna Marin (Finland), Angela Merkel (Germany), Katrin Jacobsdóttir (Iceland), Erna Solberg (Norway) and Helle Thorning-Smichdt (Denmark).

What was his strategy? Not to engage in ideology, but to govern by using the successful triad: testing, isolating those infected and tracing the contacts of those infected, that serves to confine the viruses and the infected persons. From the outset, they imposed the immediate closure of borders, the use of masks and the carrying out of PCR tests. They have also made use of so-called Noah's Arks (such as hotels in Madrid) to avoid congesting hospitals with non-serious cases, provision of medical instruments, protection with appropriate equipment for health workers and special professionals, special attention to vulnerable populations, and limited confinement measures.

It would be cruel to make comparisons

Naturally this is all in hindsight and it is very comfortable to give an opinion when the facts are in and you can compare the strategies of the different countries and their results.

But how envious are those who, when it was announced that the bull was coming, entered the bullring as a precaution and from there took good foresight measures (including having from the very first day enough stocks of masks, tests, epis, sanitary equipment etc.) and chose the successful strategy. Congratulations to those politicians who got it right on the advice of truly competent and independent experts.

And what a pity for those who, when it was announced that the bull was coming, did not take any notice, demonstrating irresponsibly, not taking the necessary precautions to prevent it from coming. stocks. Naturally the bull charged them. It charged us. Consequence, more than three months in the infirmary.

But we are optimistic, even though our country chose the losing strategy and we are at the European tail end of the death/economy binomial, we have at last I have started to put into practice what I have called the successful triad and even to use mandatory face masks. We will manage to dominate the virus like the Asian and Oceanic countries, the Nordic countries, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, etc., only that three months late and with one of the most collapsed economies in the world.

And also as we have said we are optimistic, Why not hope that this virus will soon lose its virulence, as has happened in other pandemics?

The artificial meat and the necessary prior publicity

I comment an article published in Expansión quoting it, and my comments without quotes. "Meat consumption has reached alarming levels." Bullshit. Consumption has dropped, as has milk consumption. Thousands of farms were closed in Spain last year. "Livestock accounts for 14.5% of total greenhouse gas emissions and takes up two...
