Rafael Villaseca, former CEO of Gas Natural Fenosa and current Chairman of the Naturgy Foundation, took part in the Proa Communication Observatory held at the headquarters of Boston Consulting Group on Wednesday 10 April.
Rafael Villaseca holds a degree in industrial engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and an MBA from IESE. He was CEO of Gas Natural Fenosa for thirteen years. He currently chairs the Naturgy Foundation (formerly Gas Natural Fenosa) and is a director of Cementos Molins and VidaCaixa, as well as a member of the Advisory Board of Foment del Treball Nacional and a member of the Spanish Chapter of the Club of Rome.
Among his awards, he has received the aforementioned Platts Global Energy Awards CEO of the Year Award 2010The award, the most prestigious awards in the energy sector, was presented to him in New York. The award, which recognises the recipient's career and most recent achievements, recognises strategic vision, decisiveness and leadership, as well as the demonstration of sufficient clarity of vision, judgement and motivation by managers to transform their organisations.
