Madrid SnowZoneone of the largest indoor snow slopes in the world and the only one in Spain, held last Sunday 22nd April the III Madrid SnowZone Championship for journalists. The third edition has consolidated an essential sporting event for the media, which were represented by more than 50 journalists. A total of 26 media registered for the event, among them Telecinco, MARCA, RTVE, Cadena SER, Europa Press, Servimedia, Hearst, RNE, Expansión, Esdiario, EFE, Unika FM, Travesía, Tricksnowboard, Cinco días, Cadena Ibérica Radio, Nevasport and Travesía. Pablo Egea (MARCA), in the skiing competition, and Carlos Marinho (Unika FM), in the snowboarding category, were the winners of a competition in which the traditional mini giant slalom was replaced by a small ski/snow cross circuit - in which the participants were able to compete in timed descents - which served to honour the medal of Regino Hernández. In representation of the RFEDI, attended by Laro Herrero, 10 times Spanish champion and member of the Olympic team in Sochi 2014 and Pyeongchang 2018. Borja Fadón (Esdiario) and Ismael Díaz (RTVE) completed the podium in skiing. Jorge Gala Díez (RTVE) and Sebastián Méndez (Tricksnowboard) did the same in snowboarding. In addition, all the winners received medals, making them feel like elite sportsmen and women on an unforgettable day.

The technical management of the championship was carried out by the Tecalp club.The Madrid high competition ski team, which managed the refereeing, the time trial and the clinic. In addition, Tecalp will provide competition training for the first three ski-qualified athletes, while Toto Chamarro, teacher and Team Madrid SnowZone rider, will give a freestyle master class. for the first three snowboarders in the Xanadu indoor track.

In addition, they will have the opportunity to receive a masterclass by the National Snow Sports Team, and will have an annual pass to Madrid SnowZone. On the other hand, the second and third of each modality received as a prize a masterclass from Club Tecalp (ski modality), and from Toto Chamarro (snow), 2008 Guinness Record holder in railing, as well as an annual pass for Madrid SnowZone.
The runners-up received an RS Roslain Sport watch, while the third-placed runners-up were awarded an RS Roslain Sport bracelet. In addition to the three winners in each category, this year's edition also featured a special award in recognition of the best female scorewho received an RS Roslain Sport watch, a masterclass with Tecalp and an annual pass to Madrid SnowZone.
All the participants of the Championship received a welcome pack (in wetbag format) that included: thermal T-shirt, RS Roslain Sport balance bracelet, Nzero 100% liquid ski wax (best ecological product in the world of snow at the ISPO 2017 fair), ladival urban fluid SPF50 cream and 4 passes of 2h with equipment for Madrid SnowZone. In addition, an experience pack was raffled among all participants along with two Cardinal goggles, a pair of Salomon ski boots from the 2019 season, a pair of Burton snowboard boots from the 2019 season, SP brand snowboard bindings - Fastec Core model - offered by The White Days, and an annual pass for Madrid SnowZone.
