Cantero de Letur chooses PROA Comunicación to reinforce its communication strategy.

The collaboration will focus on highlighting the company's commitment to health and wellness, organic production, and rural development.

Cantero de Letur has recently been nominated as a finalist in the EU Organic Awards 2025, one of the most prestigious awards in the organic sector in Europe.

Stonemason of Letur, a pioneering and leading company in the production of organic dairy products in Spain, has placed its trust in PROA Communication, a consultancy firm specialising in designing, managing and consolidating the communication and corporate reputation of institutions, companies and senior executives, as their strategic partner to consolidate their positioning at a time of transformation for the agri-food sector. The collaboration will focus on highlighting the company's commitment to health and wellbeing, organic production and rural development.

The company, founded in 1990 in Letur, a municipality in the Sierra del Segura, was a pioneer in the organic production of yoghurt, kefir and goat's, sheep's and cow's milk. Its activity, based on demanding criteria of animal welfare, respect for the environment and rural development, has allowed it to consolidate itself as a benchmark brand in the sector, committed to its environment and with a clear social mission.

Pepe VilchesCantero de Letur's Marketing and Sales Director, said: "At Cantero de Letur we are committed to surrounding ourselves with allies who share our values and have a deep understanding of who we are and where we want to go. That is why we have entrusted PROA as our strategic communication partner. Having a senior team that is involved and provides a clear and experienced vision makes a real difference".

Currently, Cantero de Letur employs 121 people directly in a town of just 900 inhabitants, contributing to boosting the local economy and sustaining life in the Sierra del Segura, recently affected by the floods of the DANA. Its products, made from milk from its own organic and local farms, are present in the main distribution chains in the country.

In recognition of its track record and its model of positive impact, Cantero de Letur has been selected as one of the three European finalists in the EU Organic Awards 2025in the category "Best small or medium-sized organic food company", promoted by the European Economic and Social Committee. These awards, promoted by the European Commission and other EU institutions, recognise each year the most innovative, sustainable and inspiring initiatives in the organic sector. The winners will be announced on 23 September, coinciding with the European Day of Organic Production.

For Lucía Casanueva and Valvanuz Serna RuizAccording to the managing partners of PROA Comunicación, "accompanying a brand like Cantero de Letur, with a genuine commitment to people, animals and the land, is an opportunity to give visibility to an exemplary project that is deeply aligned with the transformations demanded by our times".
