The director of digital communication of Proa CommunicationBárbara Yuste, moderated last Friday in the VI International WomanLiderTic Conference the round table on technology and inclusion, in which the following participated Ana González Talaván, Director of Digital Services at Microsoft. González Talaván presented the case of Sandra Timónthe first deafblind woman to work at the tech company to win the 2019 National Youth Award in the Social Engagement category.
González Talaván shared with Bárbara Yuste, who acted as interviewer, how to lead a diverse and inclusive team and what Sandra Timón's day-to-day life is like in the team. She also argued that any company can create a team of this type if it sets out to do so and has a clear objective. But, in her opinion, it is necessary for company managers to see inclusion and diversity as a business opportunity.
