Hands 2017 raises 17,830 euros for water resources development in Turkana, with Proa Comunicación as benefactor

The Auction and Charity Raffle HANDS , organised by the Emalaikat Foundation, The event was once again a resounding success after bringing together more than 450 people at the Madrid Club House on 12 December last year. artists, designers, businessmen, entrepreneurs, managers, prestigious firms, etc., outstanding professionals and great peoplein response to the call of Ana López de Letona to, in their words, turn design into water to carry ".hope and drops of life to Africa".. The auction was attended by the following companies as benefactor Proa Comunicación, with the presence of Lucía Casanueva and Valvanuz SernaThe company's managing partners.

On this occasion, the 12th edition of this marvellous solidarity action raised a total of 17,830 euros which shall be entirely earmarked for to build a well in Turkana, Africa.

Pablo Melendothe former CEO of Sotherby's, was once again the exceptional conductor of the auction made up of numerous lots from leading decoration and design firms. All the attendees enjoyed a cocktail party courtesy of Rigatoni Events with a tasting of Sorlutt oysters and wines provided by prestigious wineries such as Marqués del Atrioclient of Proa Comunicación. The winery managed by the Rivero family donated several bottles that were tasted during the event, as well as a batch of 12 magnum bottles for the auction.

Another of the most eagerly awaited highlights of the evening came at around 10:30, when the well-known interior decorator Pepe LealThe raffle began, in which more than 300 brands provided invaluable assistance with a total of 220 batches of products.

The HANDS Charity Auction is an initiative whose main aim is to inform, raise awareness and sensitise society about the evolution of the situation in Kenya, Malawi y Ethiopia. The following are needed many supportive and generous hands to join this project with the same enthusiasm and conviction as the missionaries who have been working in the field for the last five years.
