-- Time for reflection. 2020, the year of the pandemic

José Barros, consultant to PROAwrites one of the articles in the book, Time for reflection. 2020, the year of the pandemicpublished by FAES Foundation, which compiles the texts published on its website during the confinement.

In its chapter, Wuhan virus: pandemic, lies and repressionDuring the first weeks of the outbreak, José Barros explains how the Beijing regime adopted a strategy of censorship and repression of its own scientific community and civilian population in order to deny the existence of COVID-19. "The loss of this precious time has served to allow the coronavirus to reach the current dimensions of a global epidemic", according to Barros.

The book contains texts by many of the Foundation's top analysts and contributors, including Román Escolano, Rafael Arias-Salgado o Javier Rupérezwho analysed every day during the confinement, from every possible angle, what was happening and why.
