Proa Comunicación took part in the Woman Forward Awards Gala

Lucía Casanueva, Managing Partner of Proa Comunicaciónwas in charge of handing over to Theresa Zabell one of the Woman Forward Awards for "Corporate Governance and Gender Diversity" organised by the Woman Forward FoundationThe event was held on Monday at the Embassy of Italy, an institution that works to boost the creation of value in organisations by promoting female talent through research.

Theresa Zabell, the only Spanish woman with two Olympic gold medals and recognised as the best sailor in the world by the International Sailing Federation, has been recognised with the award for her commitment to transmitting the sporting values of effort, sacrifice and perseverance to her life and to her foundation, ECOMAR, from which she spreads healthy living and care for the environment to new generations.

The other 13 award winners for creating value from gender diversity in the business and institutional world were the Government of Italy, the Secretary of State for Digital Advancement, Mahou-San Miguel, Red Eléctrica, ESADE, Institución Educativa SEK, María Wandosell, Mediaset, Atlético de Madrid, Eva Levy, Pilar Gómez-Acebo, CEOE and the European Parliament.

The awards ceremony was attended by numerous personalities from the business, economic and political world of Madrid.
